Professional Experience
Mr. Little is a Member with Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A. He concentrates his practice in the area of family law, including issues regarding divorce, custody, alimony, and complex marital property division. He has been appointed by the court to represent minor children in cases that involve determining the best interests of the minor children with regard to custody arrangements.
Immediately prior to joining Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A., Mr. Little worked as an Associate with Kaufman, Ries & Elgin, P.A., located in Towson, Maryland.
From 1983 to 1997, Mr. Little served as a Project Manager for Z, Inc. He managed contracts with the U.S. Small Business Administration in the conduct of a program evaluation concerning the effectiveness of the Small Business Innovation Research Program in assisting small companies to commercialize new technologies.
He also served as Deputy Project Manager for a large, multi-task contract with the Office of Oil and Gas, Energy Information Administration, U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Little's responsibilities included the coordination of the monthly reporting of all contract activities and budgetary information to the Contract Officer's Representative, Project Manager, and Task Managers.
Prior to that time, from 1981 until 1983, Mr. Little was a Senior Associate with T.J. Schmidt & Associates, Inc. in Bethesda, Maryland. At that firm, he managed all aspects of corporate activities, including overall operational and administrative responsibilities for all projects undertaken by the firm. He also served as Deputy Project Manager on an operational technical support services contracts with the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
From 1978 to 1981, Mr. Little was an Associate with CDP Associates, Inc., located in Rockville, Maryland. In that position, he participated in all phases of the corporation's business, including marketing, proposal development, task and project management, and other administrative responsibilities. He participated in projects for clients in the public and private sector, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Health Care Financial Administration, and the Health Resources Administration.
Mr. Little served as a Legislative Assistant for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation from 1977 until 1978. He directed an information clearinghouse of all legislation, legislative publications, and other such information of interest to the Foundation; he also designed and implemented the CFF Legislative Network, a system of over 300 volunteers mobilized to react to public policy initiatives.

- Mr. Little has a son, Geoffrey, who is 16 years old. Geoffrey is a Junior at The Park School in Brooklandville, Maryland. Mr. Little and his son are avid sports fans and enjoy camping.
