Professional Experience
Mike Leaf has over 30 years experience in real estate, land use, estate planning, probate, business law and litigation. He has represented landowners, buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants in the negotiation of sales, purchases, ground leases and has prepared all varieties of real estate documents. Mike has litigated many cases in the Circuit Court and has represented numerous clients in the Court of Special Appeals and Court of Appeals. He has served as Court appointed Personal Representative and Court appointed Trustee to oversee the development and sale of real estate.
Mike also provides estate planning advice regarding wills, trusts, lifetime gifts and has formed limited liability companies for estate planning purposes. He represents trustees and personal representatives regarding probate matters. Mike has advised business owners and formed numerous corporations and limited liability companies and prepared employment agreements, non-compete agreements and non-disclosure agreements. Mike has represented many individuals and corporations before the Liquor Control Board and has represented clients regarding the purchase and sale of restaurants, liquor stores and other businesses.
