Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Gamson was employed as a chemist by the Dept. of Army. His legal experience began in the Law Offices of Leonard Bloom in Towson, MD as an attorney in the field of intellectual property. In this office and in the successor firm, he worked on patents, trademarks and copyrights. Most of his duties were for the preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications through the US Patent and Trademark Office. He interfaced with the applicants to determine the material to be protected and prepared the necessary documentation. Responses to Office Actions from the Patent and Trademark Office were prepared and, when required, interviews were held with the Examiners. The work also involved evaluation of patents for infringement. In the field of trademarks, the work included opposition and cancellation proceedings. In 2007, our office merged with Hodes, Pessin & Katz, P.A. Mr. Gamson's duties are unchanged and continue as described above.
